Description

The heart chakra is the medium to all other chakras.

When the heart chakra has blockages, the energy within the body will have trouble flowing freely. You might feel weak and hurt, or like you can’t step out into the world for fear of being rejected.

By opening your heart chakra, you open yourself up to love. Getting rid of those blockages allows you to finally let go of all those negative feelings and go about your life with ease and a greater sense of security. A healthy heart chakra will provide you with a sense of warmth, satisfaction and heartiness.

THE KARUNESH HEART CHAKRA MEDITATION is a proven exercise based on the Sufi tradition that dates back hundreds of years. It is a simple breath and movement exercise that can help relieve inner tension, allowing the energy of the heart to flow freely again.

Why do a Heart Chakra Meditation?

There are many reasons why the functions of one or more chakras can be out of balance. Overwork, stress, emotional pressure, and trauma are some of the most common causes of chakra blockages that we may come across in our day-to-day lives. While there are many ways to heal the chakras of these imbalances, meditations like the Karunesh Heart Chakra Meditation that combine breath, sound and movement exercises are often among the most successful and powerful.

Registration closes 15 minutes prior to starting.

How to prepare?
Create your home space to support yourself in meditating, moving, sitting, and lying down. Our virtual room will open about 10 minutes before the start so you can troubleshoot any technical difficulties. We recommend you have drinking water and tissues nearby. Wear clothes in which you can move comfortably. Layers are preferable to support you in times of high or low energy.

What is an Active Meditation?

There’s more than one way to meditate. If you’ve tried traditional mindfulness meditations and found it difficult to calm your mind while sitting still, then you might find an active meditation especially helpful. Unlike what might come to mind when you think of “meditation”, active meditation uses motion to help you calm your mind–so be prepared to move around!

Active Meditations are great for beginning or experienced meditators. The meditation itself lasts about an hour with some welcoming instructions and time to set intentions at the beginning. Online access closes at 9:40 so as not to interrupt the process. There will be an opportunity to integrate this transformative experience afterwards.
