Come for cuddles, touch, breath, conscious connection and eye gazing. The Yum Night is stewarded by Sara and Thomas, inspired by their training with David Cates and their work as embodiment-centered coaches. You will be tenderly and playfully guided through physical and verbal connection practices with yourself, with partners, and in groups. This practice is focused on our humanness, and we partner with each other regardless of gender or sexual orientation. This is a 1-2 Chili Pepper event so all practices are fully clothed and are focused on nurturing, innocent touch and attention with each other.
Friday, May 19, 2023 7:00-9:30pm
South Minneapolis (location given upon registration)
Arrive by 6:50pm, doors locked at 7:05pm.
$30 in advance, $40 after 5PM on Friday.
How to Prepare:
Please bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothes and know that you can participate as much or as little feels comfortable. Come alone or bring a friend. Open to all genders and orientations ages 18 and up. We encourage you to open your heart and see all other participants as the divine beings they truly are. We do not attempt to gender-balance and there will be opportunities to work with people of all genders.
Intrinsic in the work is a keen noticing of our bodies. This deep listening doesn’t mix well with alcohol or other substances, so please don’t consume those that would hinder your natural state.
We look forward to being with you,
Sara & Thomas
